"Song of Hummingbird Highway puts the magic back into magical realism. The debut novel by
KM Cookie is exotic and familiar at once, where a hummingbird feather from Belize becomes a
craving for identity that is central to humanity. Dripping with sensory detail and spiritual
yearning, this will hit home for those who read from the heart. Highly recommended."
