The artist, Stylis, designs musical masterpieces using words as his paintbrush and the world as his palette. His rap style is poetry in motion, combining innovation with fluidity. Stylis musically strives to share his vision of artificial utopia melded with his core values: peace, love and unification. Growing up in South Central Los Angeles, Stylis remained remarkably optimistic. During these years he excelled in finding new ways to express himself through music. Influenced heavily by his father’s musical family, he began writing tracks and rapping to anyone who would listen. His first big break was when he wrote and rapped on a remix for “Golden” with Jill Scott. Some say his un-definable style is a hybrid version of Drake combined with Coldplay. Stylis drew inspiration from JayZ, A Tribe Called Quest, Louis Armstrong, Thelonious Monk, Mozart and Tupac.

Stylis has previously released the singles “Where’ve you Been” and “Know me by Now”, both available on iTunes. He grew his following as an internet sensation, with thousands of downloads following the hype from the popular rap story – Accept me for who I am and stop limiting my boundaries…Stylis will be releasing “Blame Game” the first EP single on January 21, 2014 and soon after, the much awaited “Blame Game” video. He found the inspiration for this new release by sharing his interpretation of relationships – each partner constantly striving to determine who is at fault.
