Dear Readers, Friends, Fellow Dreamers,
Today, November 4th 2025, Song of Hummingbird Highway became available for pre-order on NetGalley (ISBN 9798888249925).
I should have the perfect words for this moment. I'm a writer, after all. But all I can say is: I did it.
I'm humbled. Proud. Frightened. Bold. Overwhelmed. Concave—yes, that's a word that describes me, hollowed out, curved inward, like the inside of a bowl.

If you've ever started a journey not knowing where it would lead...
If you've ever held onto a dream when everyone said let it go...
If you've ever accomplished something that once felt impossible...
You know exactly how I feel in this moment.
This book explores growth, resilience, and the alchemy of turning pain into power. If you've ever fought for what you cared about, been betrayed by someone you trusted, loved a song so deeply it became part of your DNA, or faced a painful moment that threatened to break you—this story is for you.
Song of Hummingbird Highway follows Terri, a Midwestern music lover who follows her musician boyfriend to Belize and into a world where maternal love becomes the most dangerous magic. When her son vanishes, she must navigate betrayal, sacrifice, and deadly secrets—tracking him through Caribbean folklore and sacred cenotes, guided by music that connects past wounds to future healing.
The book releases on Valentine's Day 2026. (Because love —in all its messy, complicated, transformative glory—deserves that date.)
